Pseudo product
A line of its own in the order with title, quantity and price. Without stock, without a product page.
Orders and invoices
Every item in the cart becomes a line of the order, with quantity and price. What happens afterwards depends on its type.
What becomes of an item.
Shopware product
On ordering, it becomes a real product line referring to the product. Shopware reduces the stock as for any other product.
Invoice and e-invoice
The items appear on the order documents like any other line, including the ZUGFeRD invoice.
Orders in the admin
When an order is edited, its existing items stay. No new ones are added and none are removed. When an order is created in the admin, no items are added automatically either.
How the maximum purchase counts.
With Maximum purchase per customer, the plugin looks through the logged-in customer's previous orders for lines with the same product number and adds up their quantities. Orders in the cancelled state do not count.
- For a pseudo product it is the item's number. Changing it starts the count from scratch.
- For a Shopware product it is the product's number. Then every previous order of this product counts, including one in which the customer bought it themselves.
- Guests and customers who are not logged in have no previous orders. For them the limit only applies within the current cart.
